The inaugural function of the Scrub Society was held on 29 August 2011 at 11.00 am in the Anderson Hall. Mr. Nityanand Jeyaraman, (Environmental Writer & Researcher) was the chief Guest. Mr. S. Venkatraman aka Poochi Venkat gave a special presentation on macro wildlife photography. The principal, Dr. R. W. Alexander Jesudasan presided over the function.
